Two Jamestown people charged with murder are scheduled to go on trial today in Stutsman County District Court. Leron Howard and Janelle Cave are charged with murder in the death of Abdi Ali Ahmed, an immigrant from Somalia.

Howard and Cave are expected to be tried together. Both pleaded not guilty in July to murder and criminal conspiracy.

Ahmed`s body was discovered in a ditch near Spiritwood on April 30. Authorities say he was stabbed and suffered blunt force trauma.
