This is a new front of emerging war between the West and Islamist. A massive escalation of military quagmire approaches to Somalia shores. What is behind the East African piracy phenomenon is very scary. Military intervention is closer than ever as most powerful navies are in Somali territorial waters. Jihadist fighter from everywhere including from United States of America set up camps in Somalia ahead of pricy escalation. The piracy is getting enough support from deep inland not limited to only coastal areas. Jihads are ready to challenge if the Western try intervene their plan seriously. The true strategic confrontation of what is bigger than mere piracy could be around the corner with in Somalia. No one has foreseen this saga other than Pentagon. They call pirates disparate fisherman turned to self acclaimed coastal guard in Western media. This is synchronized story that looks real time coincident. The rest of affected world including mainly rich Arabs imagined this piracy as minor temporary discomfort. Eventually the world has to pay high price for not supporting Somalia. Give closer look to what is happening to commercially strategic world maritime passage from a little pirate. The next substitute route via Cape Town down South Africa is also affected through Somali waters facing the Indian Ocean. Right now risk is looming, if Americans doesn't switch from the naval operations to globally meaningful assistance to pacify Somalia. Formation of an international coalition to wage war against pirate hide-outs in Somalia to face endless Jihad escalation with heavy collateral damage in densely populated areas is not an option. Somali pirate do not operate out of particular enclaves as Western like to be believed. This is American deception to create new-fangled confrontation. Of course, the international naval forces patrolling the Horn of Africa know all well what is going on. In fact, If Somalia goes back to full scale war the flames would not this time remain in Somalia alone. The forces engaged in such war would involve many armies enough to reshape the whole region. Unlike before, either Ethiopia or Kenya must involve in war like Pakistan over Afghanistan. Indeed they would not be able to contain like the Pakistan is doing too long but immediately will go to hell faster than Somalia experienced. Multi ethnic Ethiopia with armed liberation fronts already at war will be to dangerous crossroad. Islamist groups are on move to East African direction. Kenya and Ethiopia who traded the ill formed successive governments never realize they were fermenting poison to themselves. New geographically larger Somalia dominated Islamic caliphate state in East Africa could be next. American policy of isolation and containment on Iran for 30 years is wobbling as Iran signs naval treaties with Sudan & Eritrea. Wait until Hezbollah extension reaches out there. All three nations Iran, Sudan and Eritrea are involved in Somalia to counter America. One wonders how effective it will be giving aid assistance to neighboring countries in the region to apprehend or prosecute pirate where the 5th USA naval fleet and NATO fail. If the West honestly offers help Somalis to set up resourceful government every one will win, if they engage introverted war like solution the Jihads will win.
