Somalis all over the world were taken over by euphoria emanating from the departure of the much-hated Tigreyan occupation and genocidal troops. They invaded the country, killed thousands of innocent civilians, evicting people from their homes and nearly emptied the civilians from Mogadishu and its surroundings in the name of subduing the nation into accepting a puppet government compromising of its very own warlords. The sad legacy they left behind will stay stamped in the psyche of the Somali people for a long time to come. As a result, Ethiopians will be despised and looked down as they sneak back in to Addis Ababa with their tails between their legs, because the Ethiopian people were against the intervention in the first place and time and again reiterated that this is nothing more then Mele’s infamous political game of diversion from internal Ethiopian problems. The demise and the defeat of the Tigreyan army is a victory for all the peace loving people of Ethiopia and Somalia in particular and of East Africa in general.
I was glued to the Somalia media for the best part of the last 48hrs jumping from one site to the other gauging the immediate effect of the aftermath of the departure of the invading troops. Contrary to the dim scenario the international communities were painting; I found out that Mogadishu civilians who were locked away in IDP camps for the last two years, children living in the neighborhood of the now vacated bases, (Mogadishu Stadium, Pasta Factory and etc) and liberation fighters from different groups converged in peace to explore of what is left of the once magnificent land marks of Mogadishu, as these areas were made no-go areas for the Somalis for a quite good time. The depth and content of the media took me by surprise as I stumbled on Some local radios and newspapers of Mogadishu debating about converting the Tigrinya bases to Educational museums so that the future generations could visit when learning about the history of Somalia. The people of Mogadishu, which symbolizes somalia, the Somali Diaspora and their liberation armies are inches away from opening a new chapter for Somalia. There are minor bridgeable differences between the Islamists which I hope will be resolved by dialogue and negotiations. The Al- Shabab party, the group headedby Sheik Sharif Sh. Axmed and other small and less known resistance alliances have all the major political cards in their hands at this point in time, as there are no viable contestants in this ultimate critical make-or-break phase. Sharif Hassan's Party is to understand that what ever power sharing agreement they reached with the TFG is shredded and shelved and that the TFG as instructed by Males zenawi, their political master, is unilaterally electing so called president, which is a clear violation of the ill-fated Djibouti agreement. Sheik Sharif's party shouldn’t waste the precious time in pondering as to how to deal with TFG as it is no entity and has no legitimacy what so ever in the eyes of the Somalis but instead to focus its efforts to work on smoothing out their differences with Al- Shabab which is within reach. Remember the TFG members are the same warlords who were earning loads of money by trading your colleagues (Sheikhs, Western Somali People) like a commodity to the CIA and the Ethiopians for profit and which as a consequence enabled the Islamic courts to come to the forefront of the political arena for the first time to safe their skin. United (Al-Shabab & Sheik Sharif Party) has the understanding, Military capacity and the legitimacy to resuscitate the dying Somali nation which has being taking beatings from a host of foreign countries led by Ethiopia who are bent on destroying the very fabric of the Somali nation. To the unwary eye the exit of the Tigreyan occupation army seems that the mission is accomplished but to the seasoned eyes their coming back through the back window with vengeance is eminent. The rapid reunification of the party will alter the reality on the ground and will frustrate the enemies of Somalia both with in (TFG, Hiiraale, Abdi Waal and the many wana bees) and with out (Ethiopia and its likes). The undesirables who were terrorizing and maiming the defenseless civilians for so long are closely watching your moves in the next two weeks as time is of most essence at this sensitive political juncture. They stand for no chance to live in a civil society as they are the society’s rejects and for sure they will either go on exile voluntarily or face the full force of the law which they can’t stomach for apparent reasons. The united Islamic courts of which the Al- Shabab is part and parcel should fill the void with in this week before the so called ill educated international community steps in with their age old infertile and obsolete degenerative formulas. The international community should only come in when you set your functional government in your own style because you are the experts who are best placed to understand your people’s needs and wants. The union of Islamic courts must take note of the now defunct Djibouti agreement which you co- signed with a ghost partner under drus from international organizations didn’t live to see the light of the day ; it is now or never to reunite the party and remember the nation will never forgive you if this opportunity is missed due to obstinacy or egoism from any party. The list of candidates for the office of TFG president is over subscribed as there are no clear selection criteria in place and when you gaze with intent the people who put their name forward you will think as it is the Bakara market. I believe some of the candidates are so dumb that the only reason that they put their name forward is the expectation that they will get more juicy”sparas” as that is the only trade they know. There are a lot of people who see that Sheik Sharif is about to trade this opportunity were he can be a national hero unto himself to an inferior one were he will be subservient to a toothless TFG whose so called Army and Police are already dressed as civilians in anticipation of what is to come. Sheikh Sharif is assumed to have internalized the propaganda of the west which portrays him as the mirror image of his believe and personality so us to create a gulf of distress between him and the other Islamic fronts. Sharif has to understand that what make him stand out of the crowd is the leadership skills which he displayed during the six months he was the head of the umbrella of the courts; it is also the opinion of some that he is in the pocket of the west as he received preferential treatment when bombs were raining on the heads of his comrades in arms. The nation is like a lizard and if the tail is cut it grows another one in short time so it is your choice to lead your fellow brothers and sisters to prosperity, recovery and reconciliation while you can or to stay with the pack of the mad wolfs!! The line is drawn in the sand – Somalis will never accept the failed TFG because it failed in a big way and left a bad after taste in the mouth of the whole nation. The vanguards of the resistance are out there to take the cancer (TFG, Hiiraale and Abdi Waal) out of the body before it spreads. Let us uproot the Tigreyan spies and stooges who are among us in every conceivable form of disguise and let us for once create the right environment for the seed of Somali nationalism to re-germinate. While the Somali nation is rejoicing today, the enemies among us are weeping because they owe their immoral existence to the support of the Tigreyan army which is creeping out of the country in humiliation and I believe no one will lose sleep over their plight as they are irrelevant in every sense and has less political weight then the wing of the mosquito.
