Kingdom, Djibouti sign military cooperation deal

RIYADH – Deputy Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, second deputy premier and minister of defense, held talks with Ali Hasan Bahdon, minister defense of Djibouti, at his palace in Maadar, Riyadh on Wednesday.

During the meeting, Prince Muhammad and Bahdon signed an agreement to strengthen military cooperation between the two countries. Their talks figured on further improving bilateral relations and ways to enhance cooperation especially in the defense fields. They also discussed the latest developments in the region and the joint efforts in supporting peace and stability of the region, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

Gen. Abdurhman Al-Bunyan, chief of staff, Fahd Al-Isa, advisor at the royal court and general supervisor of the defense minister’s office, Maj. Gen. Taher Muhammad Ali, deputy chief of staff of Djibouti, and Col. Abdurahman Ali, commander of the Djibouti Naval Forces, also attended the meeting.
