Hargaysa online reports that the wife of Daahir Riyaale Kaahin; the “president” of the regional administration in Hargaysa donated almost hundred thousand dollars to her local town of Gabiley. A generous Somali woman with big heart giving something back to her community is an honorable act. However, the question everyone is asking is where did the money come from? Everyone knows that she came from a very poor family, she never had any job, and her husband was selling “Khat” in Hargaysa before Egal made him the “Vice President”.

There have been persistent rumors that this lady wastes lot of money stolen from the people by her constant shopping trips to Dubai. Certainly, this incident helps to strength the credibility of those rumors.

Those who are wasting stolen funds from the national treasury should know what happened to those who committed the same crimes; Saddam Husseins palaces could not save him from his down fall. “Hanti Dhowrka soomaliyeed” will be on Riyaale's tail as soon as he departs.
